What will you learn

In most regions of the world, including India, sport has evolved from a system played by amateurs in their spare time and managed by volunteers to one characterized by highly trained elite athletes competing in sport as their profession, and managed by qualified paid staff with expertise in managing sport and sports organizations. This webinar provides an overview of this transition with a focus on the key characteristics of the sports business and the size and magnitude of the field. It will also explore careers in sport and how university education can prepare students for a career in the sports business.
