Modules

Module 1

BRE

Kick off with a warm welcome and introductions to mentors, followed by a dynamic " Get to Know You Bingo " icebreaker to build connections among participants.

The module then delves into defining leadership , featuring interactive case studies and videos to explore various leadership styles. Engaging activities will guide participants in adapting and refining their personal leadership approaches , setting the foundation for effective and adaptable leadership skills.

Module 2

BRE

Students will explore common traits within teams and their personal strengths using the VIA test . They will apply these strengths in survival scenarios, solve a riddle , and use a problem-solving toolkit to address real-world issues collaboratively.

The module includes analyzing adaptive leadership through case studies and practicing brief defense arguments on random topics.

Module 3

BRE

This module explores leadership in the digital age with a focus on innovation and transformation, featuring a Netflix case study. It includes a session on persuasion and negotiation with role-plays for practical experience.

students work on their social change project presentations, crafting engaging hooks and strategies. The module concludes with feedback and preparation for the following day's activities.

Module 4

BRE

In this module, students will reflect on their experiences through a Story Game and Letter to Self . They will interact with mentors in a Mentor Hotseat and identify influential figures in their lives.

Following this, students will practice and refine their presentations, culminating in a Shark Tank-style session where they showcase their projects. The module concludes with a parent engagement session, where students present their projects and receive awards for their achievements.

In the case study activity, participants dive into real-world scenarios to explore various leadership styles in action. They analyze detailed case studies, discuss the strategies and decisions of different leaders, and reflect on how these approaches impact outcomes. This hands-on exercise encourages participants to critically evaluate and compare leadership tactics, fostering deeper insights into effective leadership practices.

In the Persuasion activity, students will be given random topics and will have 30 seconds to prepare before speaking for one minute to defend their assigned topic. This exercise is designed to enhance their ability to think on their feet and articulate arguments effectively under time constraints, promoting quick thinking and persuasive communication skills.

The Social Change Project involves students creating and presenting solutions to societal issues. Working in teams, they research, design, and pitch their ideas, culminating in a Shark Tank-style presentation to mentors. This project fosters practical problem-solving and effective communication skills.

Shark Tank-style presentations are the highlight of the final day, where students showcase their projects in front of mentors, who act as 'sharks.' Each group has 5 minutes to present their ideas, followed by 2-3 minutes of Q&A. This format tests their creativity, problem-solving, and pitching skills in a real-world scenario.

Students effectively use crowdfunding platforms to raise funds for social causes. Ranganath Thota, founder of Fuel a Dream, provides insights into the process and shares valuable lessons on leveraging crowdfunding to support meaningful projects, emphasizing the practical skills and knowledge students can gain through their fundraising efforts.
