The Harvard YLC is a prestigious and highly selective five-day leadership workshop designed by renowned Harvard professors and taught by experienced Harvard mentors. It admits about 60 elite students from all across the nation. Students will be asked to tackle complex social issues, create a full fledged CapStone project and learn leadership through numerous experiential modules.

Navigating Your Leadership Journey at YLC Gurgaon 2024
Application Process
To join the program, high school students will have to fill out an application form & are selected based on the quality of their responses, with a selection rate of 10%.
5 Days immersion experience
The course offers a unique 5-day immersive experience where students participate in various activities and sessions designed to enhance their leadership skills and knowledge.
Harvard Mentor-led sessions
The program is conducted by Harvard undergraduate students These mentors provide hands-on guidance and lead participants through a carefully curated curriculum focused on leadership development, social change projects, & more.
Project-Based Portfolio Development
With Harvard mentors as your guides, you’ll take on community projects, turning your ideas into concrete plans. This project-focused experience enhances your college portfolio, showcasing your dedication to making a positive impact.
1 Year Mentorship
Student’s receive one year of expert mentorship post-program, supporting their social change projects and leadership journey.

The Social Impact CapStone Project
At the Harvard Youth Lead the Change (YLC), students embark on a Social Impact CapStone Project where they work in teams to identify community issues and develop comprehensive solutions to address them.
Guided by experienced mentors, they apply leadership and project management skills to bring their social impact initiatives from concept to execution, culminating in a final presentation to a panel of esteemed judges.
This capstone project not only fosters real-world problem-solving and teamwork but also empowers students to make tangible positive changes in their communities, with the winning project receiving a prize.
What is the 1 year mentorship?
After completing the workshop, Harvard YLC ensures ongoing project success by connecting students with a diverse mentorship pool, including their original Harvard mentors, seasoned entrepreneurs, and specialised consultants.
This network provides strategic guidance, helping students take optimal steps towards achieving meaningful outcomes in their social impact projects.

100% refund – If the participant formally informs the BRE team (via email) 1 month prior to the start date of the program.
50% refund – If the participant formally informs the BRE team (via email) 15 days prior to the start date of the program.
No refund – If the participant formally informs the BRE Team within 15 days (before the program starts) or during the program.
Exception: In case of some medical emergency or family emergency, program fees can be adjusted for the participant in any of the BRE’s upcoming programs but no refund. (They need to formally inform via email).
