4 Day Journey !
Day 1
The day covers the basics of debate, including formats, structure, and argumentation techniques, with practical sessions on case construction, research, and rebuttals. Students will engage in hands-on practice and receive feedback to refine their skills.
Day2
Second day will starts with a debate game, followed by sessions on advanced argumentation, cross-examination techniques, and strategic planning. It will wrap up with practice debates, feedback, and a recap of the day's key learnings.
Day3
The third day is all about refining public speaking skills, including overcoming stage fright and mastering voice modulation. It also covers team dynamics, ethical debating, and features extended practice debates with instructor feedback.
Day4
On the final day, students will refine their debate skills and celebrate their achievements. They will start with a warm-up and preparation, followed by preliminary and semi-final rounds. The day will culminate with the final debate, awards, and a closing ceremony.

Alexandra Hamilton
Co-founder & Director Scholar & Sage
Alex graduated from the University of Cambridge in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies in 2016 having won the Wing Yip prize for the highest mark in Chinese Literature. As an undergraduate, she was active in the debating scene and attended the historic Cambridge Union Debating Society. As part of her undergraduate degree, she spent a year abroad in Peking University in Beijing where she took part in Chinese poetry competitions to further flex her love of oracy. After graduating, she worked in the City of London at Goldman Sachs before returning to education to complete her postgraduate degree at Edinburgh University where she was ranked top in her year. As a Fulbright scholar, Alex has rich experience in public speaking and the art of debate and discussion. She has brought those skills to her career as she is the co-founder of Scholar & Sage, an education provider which works closely with Oxford and Cambridge University to immerse students in academically enriching and challenging programmes.ย
