About the Conference

The Global Youth Leadership Conference is a five-day immersive leadership experience designed for high school students in Grades 8–12, hosted at HIXS, Gurugram, and guided by student mentors from the HGSE Global Education Leadership Collective (HGSE GELC).

Designed for ambitious students preparing to lead in an increasingly interconnected world, the Conference combines leadership, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and global perspectives through an engaging offline learning experience.

Focused on soft-skill mastery and meaningful networking opportunities, the Conference brings together motivated young learners in an environment that encourages growth, confidence, collaboration, and curiosity.

Through interactive workshops, case studies, leadership panels, simulations, team activities, and a collaborative Social Impact Project, participants are challenged to think strategically, understand different perspectives, communicate with confidence, and turn ideas into action.

From Ideas to Impact

The Social Impact Project

Leadership becomes meaningful when students have the opportunity to apply what they learn. Throughout the Conference, students work collaboratively on a Social Impact Project, taking an idea from initial exploration to final presentation.

Stage 01 Ideation Identify challenges
Stage 02 Activation Explore perspectives
Stage 03 Prototyping Develop solutions
Stage 04 Final Development Test and refine ideas
Stage 05 Presentation Pitch final work

Students identify a challenge, explore different perspectives, develop potential solutions, test and refine their ideas, and present their final work.

Along the way, they practise strategic thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, communication, decision-making, and leadership.

The Social Impact Project gives students the opportunity to move beyond theory and experience what it means to work together to solve a meaningful problem.
