“Making Things Happen in a Story” Webinar: The Art of Writing a Great Scene
Learn to Create Compelling Scenes and Make Every Moment in Your Story Count
What makes a scene memorable? Is it the action, the dialogue, the emotions, or an unexpected twist?
Join Saisudha Acharya, author of the History Unpacked series, for an engaging creative writing session exploring the art of writing a great scene. Scenes bring stories to life, reveal characters through their actions and reactions, and draw readers into the moments that make a story memorable.
Through this session, students will explore how to build engaging scenes using action, dialogue, description and sensory details. They will also discover how timing, surprise and unexpected turns can make scenes funny, suspenseful or moving, while learning how to apply these techniques to strengthen their own stories.

This engaging session offers students an opportunity to explore the craft of scene-writing and understand how action, dialogue, sensory details and unexpected developments can transform ordinary moments into memorable storytelling experiences.
